The company was formed in 1995 as Tehandon Tree Services when Bernardo Tehandon left 11 years of tree and shrub nursery employment to offer his skills and experience to local tree nurseries.  Soon Mr. Tehandon was sought by landscape firms to assist with tree transplanting projects and landscape installation and maintenance projects. 

In 1997, Mr. Tehandon decided to changed the focus of his business to landscape maintenance.  Tehandon Landscapes and Trees, Inc. was formed.
